Cleaner registration process

Before you start accepting jobs on Freshr, you’ll need to complete a few setup steps. This helps customers know who they’re booking and helps Freshr keep the platform professional and reliable.

Step 1 — Sign up
  • Sign up to the Freshr app as a cleaner
  • Complete your profile details
  • Set your availability
  • Add your bank details for payouts
Step 2 — Compliance
  • Register and submit your police check
  • Register and submit your public liability insurance
  • Use a suitable provider if Freshr refers one
  • Submit your ABN details
  • Upload your required identification
  • Agree to Freshr’s terms and policies
Step 3 — Training
  • Read Freshr’s onboarding guide
  • Learn how bookings work in the app
  • Review Freshr’s cleaner standards
  • Complete the knowledge quiz
  • Aim for the passing score
  • Use the quiz to check you feel ready
Step 4 — Activation
  • Receive confirmation that your profile is ready
  • Start reviewing available bookings
  • Accept your first booking when you’re ready
  • Complete your first job through the app

How your first job works

Once your profile is ready, Freshr gives you a clear process to follow before, during, and after every booking.

Step 1 — Accept a booking
  • Receive a booking notification
  • Review the booking details
  • Accept the booking if it suits you
  • Wait for the customer to complete payment
  • Prepare your equipment and travel plan
Step 2 — Travel & arrival
  • Travel to the booking location
  • Update your status to “On My Way”
  • Arrive at the property on time
  • Request permission to start the job
Step 3 — Complete the clean
  • Complete the agreed cleaning tasks
  • Provide progress updates if needed
  • Submit completion photos where required
  • Mark the booking as complete in the app
Step 4 — Payment & reviews
  • Encourage the customer to leave a rating and review
  • Receive your first rating and review
  • Receive your first payout
  • Review customer feedback
  • Build your reliability and performance history
  • Become available for future booking opportunities
