- Check the time allocated for the booking
- Know exactly what you’ll be paid upfront
- Pick only the jobs that fit your schedule
Cleaner requirements
To join Freshr, you’ll need to meet a few standard requirements. These exist to protect you, your customers, and the integrity of the platform — and to ensure cleaning is treated as the professional work it is.
- Valid ID for identity verification
- Current police check
- Public liability insurance
- ABN for payment processing
- A professional, reliable, and punctual approach to every job
How payments work
Freshr handles payments on your behalf, so you never need to chase a customer or handle cash.

- Track everything you’ve earned directly in the app
Before the job
Before you head out, take a moment to review the booking and confirm everything is in order.
- Check the full job details in your Cleaner Dashboard
- Tap “Accept Job” to confirm you’re taking it on
- Wait for the customer to complete payment
- Once payment is made, their contact details will unlock
- Reach out to confirm any final details directly with the customer
- Prepare your equipment
- Tap “On My Way” when you’re heading to the job
On the job
When you arrive, the job is officially started through the app. This step protects both you and the customer.
- Arrive at the location
- Tap “Request Start” in the app
- The customer confirms the job has begun
- Complete the work as agreed
- Keep the customer updated using the notes feature
- Work through the checklist and mark items as you go
- Upload photos where relevant
- Stay within the booked time
Important job rules
A few simple rules keep every job fair and easy to manage.
Timing and progress rules
- If you finish early, you’ll need customer approval before marking the job complete
- If the booked time runs out, the job is automatically completed
- Use notes, checklist updates, and photos throughout — they’re your record if any questions come up later
After the job
Once you’re done, one final tap in the app wraps everything up and prepares your payment.
- Tap “Complete Job”
- Resolve any issues before completing if needed
- Your earnings update in the app
- Leave a review for the customer — reviews help build your reputation and can lead to more jobs
- Then move on to your next job, or call it a day
